Transient houses are commonly used by Filipino domestic tourists, including families on vacation, groups of friends (barkadas), couples on weekend trips, and travelers attending events or working away from home temporarily. They are also used by OFWs returning home for short visits, provincial travelers seeking overnight lodging in the city, and increasingly, foreign tourists who prefer a more local, immersive stay over standard hotel accommodations.
